The Troll Hunter/Trolljegeren

The Troll Hunter is a sensational documentary which exposess the Norwegian government’s monumental efforts to hide the news that trolls actually exists in Norway – and have done so for millenniums.

No doubt about it, The Troll Hunter is a horror mocumentary. This is also the first film made in Norway to feature photo-real creature animation. The film premieres in the country at the end of October, but it had an international sneak-preview at Fantastic Fest in September, staged in Austin, Texas.

The Troll Hunter mixes the horror formula for The Blair Witch Project and covers the story like Cloverfield. Presented in ‘found footage’ style, the story evolves from a mis-adventuring group of college students doing a school project about bears. They unearth a government conspiracy about Trolls in modern Norway and eventually find the real thing.

TRI▲NGLE – Onur Senturk

Beautiful stuff from Onur Senturk who recently won the motion graphics category in the Vimeo competition.

TRIANGLE is a video work done for the book ‘Black Material’ which showcases Robert Knoke’s artwork.
Curator Jens Karlson asked me to make a short animation and get Robert Knoke’s black and white artwork as base for video. I chosed to create tense harmony between geometrical forms and organic movements. Combustion helped me to expand possibilites of Black material with his strong music and sound design.
