Stopp just completed the ATG 2010 campaign for Akestam Holst. The “Do you know your horses” commercials were directed by Mats Lindberg from Traktor through The Producers. The concept for this campaign was to place horses in very human like situations. The storyboard called for shots that included a horse sitting on a train to a horse in the passenger side seat of a car to a party that consisted of a mix of people and horses.This time a combination of live action shots together with green screen plates of horses was used along with motion control to place the horses in the desired situations. A motion control repeatable head was used to give a dynamic feel to the action shots. With a four day shoot using up to three camera crews, Stopp’s Vfx team provided onset supervision. For the more complex shots onset compositing was essential in visualising the final result.
